According to Savills, the global property market has seen a slowdown, particularly in the US and EU, due to rising interest rates. However, Dubai’s market bucked this trend in 2023, recording a staggering rise of more than 36.7 per cent in value and 33.8 per cent in the number of transactions compared to the same period in 2022.
